Mission

Mission

In theory, it looks like a garden– but the mission is bigger than just growing food.

Together, as a community, we are creating something impactful.

“Together” is better than relentlessly chasing a dream on our own.

We are learning, sharing skills, contributing time, and supporting each other.

We are role models who are willing to learn.

We are creating pathways through challenges.

We are installing the changes we want to see in our community food access.

We are giving & donating what is best, not just what is left.

We are educating, improving local access to nutritious food, and cultivating a sustainable environment through urban gardening.

Together, we are Restoring Gardens.

Restoring Gardens is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization based out of Blaine, MN, which serves to teach and increase community gardening practices for the surrounding area.

Restoring Gardens at its core STEMS from “Food Justice,” recognition of health disparities, and the desire to increase our community’s access to local nutrition.

The organization GIVES in the forms of education, access to local produce, and cultivation of a healthy community.
